This concert mainly features the Chinese national musical instrument, the dulcimer. It starts with a rich and pleasant selection of famous music pieces such as Csárdás, Scarborough Fair, leading the audience to travel around the world and appreciate the nationality and globality of the dulcimer and erhu. The concert is curated by the renowned dulcimer player, Wang Long. In 1997, after graduating from the Central Conservatory of Music, Wang Long joined the Shanghai National Orchestra and partnered with the famous erhu master, Mr. Min Huifen, for 17 years. This will be a world music journey that showcases the rich expressiveness of the dulcimer and erhu. April 26 evening at the Orchestra Room of Shangyin Opera House.
