A traditional event at the Jaguar Symphony Hall is their chamber music series during the spring festival. This concert will be held at 2pm on February 15 (the 6th day of the Chinese New Year). On the bill are Hubay's Carmen Fantasie Brillante, Shostakovich's Five Pieces for Two Violins and Piano, and more. Ticket starts from 120rmb.

Join a classical event to experience your Chinese new year holiday. The Vienna Waltz Music group holds its own series of concerts. The New Year's Concert is conducted by Chen Lei. He also acts as the chief violinist, featuring classical Johann Strauss waltzes and other works. Austrian Soprano Eva-Maria Schmid will also join the performance.The show is on February 13 and 14 evening.

The Nutcracker is one of Russia's most renowned Russian ballets, featuring Tchaikovsky's instantly recognizable score, and a Christmas classic. When midnight strikes the audience is swept into a fairy tale world of toy dolls, where the Mouse King and his army of mice battle the Nutcracker Prince. This chamber concert will be held on the 7th day of the Chinese New Year, in whose traditional sense is the day that celebrates the beginning of human life. February 16 at 2pm. The Jaguar Syphomy Hall invites SSO members to present a series of festive works. On the bill are Bach’s Schafe können sicher weiden, Schubert's Arpeggione Sonata , Piazzolla ’s Four Seasons of Buenos Aires and more. Ticket starts from 120rmb.

Saxophonist Alec Haavik presents Chinese New Year Live Jazz at the Lincoln Center on February 7,8, and 18, featuring Michael Compton on piano, Harrison Wardley on bass, and Dimitry on drums. Haavik hails from New York and has collaborated with many major jazz singers such as Jane Monheit and Ronnie Burrage. Performance starts at 7.30pm.

Shanghai legend Frank Bray will be headlining at Jazz at Lincoln Center with a 'New York Story' theme on February 16 and 17. The quintet includes Tony Bott, Michael Hicks, Dmitry, and Reny Bao. Frank Bray, with more than 20 years of experience singing, has released two albums so far. Performances begin at 7:30 and 9:30 pm.

Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's iconic Swan Lake was first performed one hundred and forty-six years ago, fundamentally changing the world of ballet. It tells the tragic romance between Odette, turned into a swan by an evil witch, and Prince Siegfried, who chances upon her while out hunting. When one of the swans turns into a beautiful young woman he is instantly captivated. But will his love prove strong enough to break the evil spell? An entirely interactive musical experience where the audience is the show. The Canadian performance troupe "Samajam" presents a show for families, creating musical happenings with the help of their young audiences. After a successful tour last year, they're back in China, taking their audience on a journey through the culture and music of South America. Lively show leaders on stage will teach the audience basic music theory and lead parents and kids in percussive group performances with instruments provided. Tickets range from 180rmb to 380rmb.
